SBA Business Opportunity Roundtable

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be holding the first in a series of roundtable discussions in our region on Thursday, Mar. 27, 2014. The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Dickinson State University Strom Center.
District Director for the U.S. Small Business Administration North Dakota District Office, Mr. Mike Gallagher, and Regional Director for the Small Business Development Center, Ms. Ray Ann Kilen, will lead a discussion on current business issues that include: the Affordable Care Act; new financing opportunities through Community Express and crowd funding offered through the Dakota Certified Development Corporation (DCDC); and recent updates from the IRS.
The goal of this roundtable is to listen and understand small businesses needs and concerns. It will offer business owners, community leaders and economic development professionals a forum in which to discuss key business issues and learn about new opportunities. The North Dakota District Office provides SBA programs and services to Dickinson and southwest North Dakota by working with the Dickinson Area Regional Office of the SBDC. They can help you start, grow, and achieve business success.
