Sexual Assault Awareness Month at DSU

Tue Apr 22, 2014 at 12:00 AM

DICKINSON, ND - Dickinson State University’s Student Development team worked with the Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center (DVRCC) to help educate the DSU campus about sexual assault during the month of April.

Student Development and the DVRCC held a Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) booth from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Student Center on April 22, 2014. This booth allowed DSU students to learn more about sexual assault and give them the opportunity to meet with a DVRCC representative.

Facts about sexual assault will be posted outside the Hawks Nest daily during the month of April and anonymous stories can be submitted at the drop boxes on campus located in Woods Hall, Selke Hall, DeLong Hall, and the Library Mail Room.

Questions can be directed to Renee Baker at (701) 483-2088 or Nichole Duby at Nichole.duby@dickinsonstate.edu or at (701) 290-2202.
