Two popular family movies are playing outdoors this summer at the Dickinson State University Henry Biesiot Activities Center (BAC).

The BAC’s Outdoor Family Movie Nights will feature the PG-rated films “The Lego Movie” on June 24 and “Free Birds” on July 22 on the Hawk Vision Video Board. Activities begin at 7:30 p.m. (MST) on Fisher Field at 398 State Ave., Dickinson. Doors open at 7 p.m.

“The mission of our annual Outdoor Family Movie Nights is to provide good and meaningful entertainment to the Dickinson community while allowing families and friends to spend quality time together,” said Ben Shroyer, events and conference coordinator for the BAC.

Attendees may bring blankets and sit on Fisher Field or use the bleachers to watch each of the films. Concessions are available. No outside food or drinks are permitted in the facility. Adults need to accompany any child 12 and under.

Tickets are $5 per person or $10 per family at the door. DSU faculty, staff and students with a valid ID are free.

Business and family advertising are also available on the Hawk Vision Video Board. For information, contact Ben Shroyer at (701) 483-1918 or at Ben.Shroyer@dickinsonstate.edu
