North Dakota Entrepreneurs Making Their Mark

Thomas Edison once said that genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. North Dakotans might be better known for their hard work than their entrepreneurial spirit, but the April 2008 Strom Leadership Seminar will highlight two entrepreneurs who are living proof that the “one percent inspiration” thrives in North Dakota today!

Keynote Speakers

Kyle Thiel Kyle Thiel began researching and developing a GPS virtual tour guide, known as the vGuide, while an e-scholar at Dickinson State University. His invention will provide immediate and significant benefits to entrepreneurs working to package and promote tourism in western North Dakota. Mr. Thiel will discuss the story behind his invention and the path he is taking to bring the product to market.
Kari Warberg Kari Warberg is the founder & CEO of Crane Creek Gardens in Stanley, ND. Her products, distributed and sold through 5,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada, include Fresh Cab® & Stay Away® rodent repellent and Prairie Aire® all-natural air freshener.

Warberg and Thiel are sure to inspire you to take the next step with your own creative or entrepreneurial endeavors.
