Additional Information

Abigail Moberg is a Biology major with a minor in Leadership Studies here at DSU. She chose Dickinson State because Dickinson is her home town. She loves the people here, all the opportunities that Dickinson has, and the fact that she gets to see her family whenever she wants. Dickinson State has great faculty and staff who do a wonderful job in preparing graduates for the real world. The science department has a great track record for getting applicants into medical school, which is important to her. She is involved in many music groups on campus, as well as Student Senate and the Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership program. In the community, she volunteers at the Heritage Foundation, her church, and by donating blood every month. She is also involved in the local Sons of Norway lodge as the lodge Secretary. Volunteering is an important part of her life. Not only is it required for her minor, but she believes it is a fun way to unwind and help others. She loves to be involved, both on campus and off. She is very interested in healthcare, and one day she would like to go to medical school and become a Pediatrician. She loves working with children, and she loves to nanny whenever she can. It has been a dream of hers to become a doctor since she was a little girl, so Dickinson State really is making her dreams come true! When she is not doing homework or studying, she likes to watch Netflix and hang out with friends. One random fact about her is that her favorite kind of pizza is thin crust.
