Additional Information

Carl Lund teaches various classes for the Department of Teacher Education, supervises student teachers, and serves as Assessment and Accreditation Assistant. Before coming to DSU, Mr. Lund taught various educational courses for a small college in Kansas including grades K-3 reading methods, children’s literature, content-area reading, and elementary and secondary math methods. He also developed courses in math content for elementary education and middle school methods there. He has also taught community college courses in American history, world history, geography, and English composition and literature.

Mr. Lund also previously taught high school English, history, and math; middle school English, geography, and math; and elementary school. He was heavily involved with professional development initiatives surrounding technology integration, gifted education, and various instructional initiatives.
