Additional Information

Originally from Salinas, California, Logan transferred to Dickinson State University with her associates in Communications in the fall of 2015. The basis of appeal for Logan was Dickinson State’s small student population coupled with a family-like atmosphere. Upon arrival, she changed her major to Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. Logan became involved in the community shortly after and became a volunteer Best Friends Mentor, A Gearing up for Kindergarten teacher, and an assistant soccer coach for Dickinson’s soccer club. Logan currently works for Support Systems Inc. as a Direct support professional for persons with disabilities. On campus, Logan began being involved in the fall of 2015, by becoming a co-founder and president of DSU’s first-ever Spanish Club. She has continued with her involvement on campus through: becoming a New Student Orientation leader, being the TKE Fraternity’s sweetheart, volunteering at DSU’s Science Olympiad, serving as an Honor usher at graduation, being a weekend of welcome leader, working in the admissions office as an administrative assistant, serving as an elementary education representative for the Education Council, being a member of President Mitzel’s student cabinet, joining the soccer club, and being a Spanish tutor, and becoming a general senator on DSU’s student senate. In her free time, Logan teaches private swim lessons and loves to take photographs with her DSLR camera.
