Involvement with and education in the nursing programs at Dickinson State University ensures an enriched personal and professional life. In a university setting, students learn more than just the technical aspects of nursing. Dickinson State was put on Notice by the Higher Learning Commission on July 11, 2012. The university remains accredited while on Notice

The Department of Nursing at Dickinson State University offers a choice of degrees and programs. The primary goal of each program is to foster and facilitate the development of competent health care practitioners who are prepared to serve in a continually evolving health care environment. The nursing programs are approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
