Live music, dance, tasty treats, creative art and crafts, classic cars and a lot of children’s activities will be featured at the 11th Annual Arts Roundup held near King Pavilion on the Dickinson State University campus in Dickinson, North Dakota on July 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Venders from Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, South Dakota and North Dakota will sell a wide assortment of products including purses, pottery, photographs, glass pieces, sewing items, floral crafts and wood carvings at over thirty booths. Then at 4:30 p.m. classic cars will roll in and line up along 8th Avenue in front of the Alumni Foundation house. Other sites to visit are the art gallery at DSU’s Klinefelter Hall.
Live entertainment will kick off immediately at 11:00 am on the King Pavilion stage with a performance by the Roughrider Band followed by a contemporary, hip hop and jazz dance numbers being performed by Burn the Floor Dance Studio. And singer/songwriter Jessie Veeder will perform for the second year in a row followed by a variety of other acts.
The artistic talents of Native American artist Butch Thunderhawk, sculptor Linda Little, painter Troy David, stained-glass artist Jeff Pansch, painter/sculptor/craftsman Jeff Wolberg and saddle maker/leather craftsman Rex Cook will be on display at the Roughrider Art Gallery in the DSU Alumni & Foundation House and at the Arts Roundup.
