Academic Success Center

The Academic Success Center is here to help you learn. We are located in the lower level of the Stoxen Library, and we provide individual peer tutoring, disability support services, English as a Second Language instruction, and house the Student Support Services program. Supplemental instruction is coordinated through the Center, and is available for certain math classes.

We also coordinate the First Year Experience for new freshman students, and offer a variety of workshops and in-class instruction on academic skills such as note-taking, test preparation, studying, and time management.

Services to faculty include in-class workshops on academic skills, advising materials, and faculty development opportunities through the “Conversations on Teaching” series.
