Involvement
with and education in the nursing programs at Dickinson State University
ensures an enriched personal and professional life. In a university setting, students learn more than just the technical
aspects of nursing. Taking courses from the general University offerings
helps students acquire the well-rounded educational experiences employers
seek and which students need to become successful nurses.
The Department of Nursing at Dickinson State University offers a choice
of degrees and programs. The primary goal of each program is to foster
and facilitate the development of competent health care practitioners
who are prepared to serve in a continually evolving health care environment.
The nursing programs are approved by the North Dakota State Board of Nursing
and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
