Institutions of higher education in the state of North Dakota are governed by the State Board of Higher Education (SBHE). Click on SBHE policies for access. Staff employees (and also faculty where applicable) are governed by the North Dakota University System Human Resources Policy Manual.

The Dickinson State University faculty are also self governed through the personnel policies contained in the DSU Faculty Handbook.
