DSU Golf Teams Finish Strong at Minot Invitational

Kyle Chan Wins DAC Fall Tournament |
Kyle Chan wins the Dakota Athletic Conference Fall Tournament, the men’s team finishes with second place, and the women’s team finishes in fourth.
Chan had a two-day score of 75-76– 151, while his teammates all tied for eighth place- Thomas Weikle (82-77- 159), Kody Harper (79-80– 159) and Tony Elliot (80-79– 159). The Blue Hawks finished with a two day team score of 316-372- 752.
The Blue Hawk women’s golf team finished in fourth place at the DAC Fall Tournament and was led by the third place finish of Kelsey Boedeker (88-87- 175). Teammate Kim Waldner-Reid finished in 13th place with a two day score of 91-95- 186.

The Dickinson State University men’s and women’s golf teams finished third and fourth at the Jamestown College Invitational.
Despite being without Kelsey Boedeker, who was out due to illness, the Blue Hawk women’s golf team took home a fourth place finish with a two day team score of 767. Kim Waldner-Reid finished seventh with a score of 187, Caitlin Hurlock tenth place with a 191, Brittaney Backen thirteenth place with a 194, and Lana Scott fourteenth with a 195.
The Blue Hawk men’s golf team finished in third place with a two day score of 641 and Thomas Wiekle placed fifth with a two day score of 155. Tony Elliot finished in twelfth place with a score of 161, Kody Harper fourteenth with a 162, Kyle Chan twenty second with 168, and Zorast Gustausp with a 162.
Women's Golf Takes 2nd at Invitational Golf Tournament
The Dickinson State University Women’s Golf Team comes away with 2nd place at the Valley City State Invitational Golf Tournament. The Blue Hawks were narrowly edged out by 2 strokes for 1st place with a team score of 707. Kelsey Boedeker earned the top spot at Maple River Golf Club with a two day score of 79-84–163. Brittany Backen finished in 8th place with 91-86–177; while Caitlin Hurlock, 94-91–185, Lana Scott, 94-91–185, and Kim Waldner-Reid, 91-94–185 all tied for a 12th place finish.
