Global Awareness Tuition Waiver Application

Global Awareness is a Dickinson State University initiative to promote international learning and provide a cross-cultural experience for students and the campus community.  This initiative provides substantial scholarships for qualified and dedicated international students who desire to study at a progressive, student-centered American university.

Students meeting the established criteria will be granted scholarships equivalent to up to fifty-three percent (53%) of the out-of-state tuition rate.  With the Global Awareness Tuition Waiver, the international student pays approximately the same amount as the North Dakota resident tuition and fees.

Students applying for the Global Awareness Tuition Waiver must have a TOEFL score of 525 or above (or a score of 195 using the computer version) and must have demonstrated academic excellence in their previous schooling.
