Strom Center offers lunch and learn on digital citizenship

The Strom Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Dickinson State University will host “Digital Citizenship,” a lunch and learn presented by Carissa Swenson of Techtecs. The event takes place Monday, June 24 from noon-1:30 p.m. at the Strom Center, located at 1679 6th Ave. West.

The presentation will focus on how to further understand the free online tools and resources available to consumers as well as how to become a good digital citizen. Additional topics include learning risks involved with cyber-predators, cyber-bullies, sexting and how to protect your online identity.

Cost is $25 per person. Door prize includes a copy of the 2013 Microsoft Office Professional software suite. Click here to register online by Wednesday, June 19.
