Andre Goldberg
Head Coach
Originally from Boulder, CO; Andre Goldberg played his first two years of college basketball under current Men's Head Coach Ty Orton at McCook Community College. Here he received All-Conference and Academic All-American honors. While at McCook his team also went on to win a conference championship. Andre is no stranger to the Dakota Athletic Conference, after moving on from McCook, he attended Black Hills State University where he also garnered Academic All-American honors while playing on a DAC runner up team his junior season. Goldberg graduated with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Athletic Coaching. He will receive his masters from Adams State University in the summer.
Two years ago he joined the Blue Hawks as a Men's Assistant helping the team to a winning record for the first time in several years. During his second year with DSU Andre became an Assistant under Coach Guy Fridley while also continuing his duties with the Men's team. In his first year with the Lady Blue Hawks the team won the DAC tournament and regular season titles. They also reached the Elite 8 at the National Tournament. During last season he was part of a staff who received Coach of the Year Honors in the DAC. This will be Goldberg’s first season as Head Coach at DSU.
Hennessy Rodriguez 2nd Season
Assistant Coach
Originally from Sacramento, California; Hennessy Rodriguez played her first two
years of college basketball at American River Community College. At American
River, she also played two years of softball where she received Honorable
Mention Honors both years.
After American River, Rodriguez transferred to Dickinson State where she played
basketball and softball for the university. Her first year of basketball was
played under Coach Tara Kreklau and finished her basketball career under Coach
Guy Fridley. Rodriguez also played softball for two years under Coach Guy
Fridley, where she helped her team win both the DAC regular season and DAC
conference tournament and move on to the 2006 Regional tournament for the first
time in the school’s history. In Rodriguez’s senior year, she helped her team
win both the DAC regular season and DAC conference tournament, 2007 Regional
Tournament, and move on to the 2007 NAIA National tournament where they made
their first appearance in the school’s history and finished in the Elite Eight.
Rodriguez graduated from Dickinson State in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Biology and a Coaching Minor. After graduation, Rodriguez entered her first year
as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach under Coach Guy Fridley. In her first year
with the Lady Blue Hawks the team won the DAC tournament and regular season
titles. They also reached the Elite 8 at the NAIA National Tournament. During
last season she was part of a staff who received Coach of the Year Honors in the
DAC. Hennessy Rodriguez is entering her 2nd year as Assistant Women’s Basketball
Coach at Dickinson State University.
Staci Moore 1st Season
Assistant Coach
Originally from Bartley, Nebraska, Staci began her college basketball career at
McCook Community College (NE). There, she received academic and athletic awards
while leading her team to a conference championship her sophomore year.
Following her graduation from McCook, Moore transferred to Dickinson State
where she played basketball under Coach Guy Fridley for her remaining two years.
Here, Moore also earned Academic All-American honors while helping her team win
both DAC regular season and DAC conference tournament championships as well as
making it to the ‘Elite Eight’ in the NAIA National Tournament her senior year.
Moore also played golf for the Lady Blue Hawks taking part in the conference
championship her junior year. Moore graduated from Dickinson State in 2009 with
a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and a Coaching minor. Staci Moore is
entering her 1st year as a Dickinson State University Assistant Women’s
Basketball Coach.
