O’Donnell begins his seventh season as cross country coach for Dickinson State. O’Donnell has been on the coaching staff at DSU for 14 years as the head wrestling coach (nine years). O’Donnell received his bachelor’s degree in physical education from Dickinson State in 1991 and his master’s degree in physical education and recreation in 1993 from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. O’Donnell ran cross country for Baker High School in Baker, Montana. He had a top twenty finish his senior year. He has won several road races since then. O’Donnell and his wife, Tracie, reside in Dickinson with their two children, Danielle and Seth.
