Community Education and Practical Training

As part of Dickinson State University’s dual mission, the institution offers a variety of community education and practical training courses.  Courses are offered on a rotating basis and in response to community need.  If you are interesting a course not listed, please contact the TREC office.

These courses are non-credit bearing.  Courses and certificates of completion are offered throughout the year and are designed to provide you with options to complete practical training for professional and personal advancement.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program

The course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform basic care services for a patient (acute care setting) or resident (long-term care setting).
