Wherever you are in the process – from jumping into the workforce to considering graduate school – we offer one-on-one assistance to help you plan and achieve career success. We strongly encourage you to take a proactive role in career exploration through involvement with Career Development’s services early in your Dickinson State University experience.

Career Development

In Career Development, we offer you a variety of services, including (but not limited to) access to different employment opportunities and internships, applications, creating a resume and cover letter, and different volunteer options.

Focus 2

Focus 2 guides students through a reliable career and education decision making model to help them choose a major at Dickinson State University and make informed decisions about their careers. FOCUS 2 combines 5 self-assessments, career and major exploration, action planning and decision making in one comprehensive site. Utilize Focus 2 in your classes or during academic advising sessions.
